I have a Master's of Art in Teaching and plan on achieving my Doctorate degree. I love what I do and Early Childhood Education is my passion. My experience is 14 years as an Early Childhood Education Teacher (Ages Newborn-12 yrs) with 4 years as an Early Childhood Education Director. I was employed at Collaborative for Children with 4 ½ years as a Lead Early Childhood EducationAssessor/Consultant/Trainer. I am currently on my 3rd year of teaching public school. I currently teach first grade in Crosby ISD. Through my experience I have gained skills in Curriculum Development, Planning and Implementation, Leadership Experience, Team Building, Early Childhood Education Training Development and Implementation, Perform and Develop Early Childhood Education Assessments/Observations, Evaluate both existing and new content for instructional best practices for ECE providers to implement in the classroom, Observe routine practices and teaching practices of a center and identify opportunities for improvement. It is priority to implement Texas Childcare Licensing Minimum Standards and Regulations as well as planning and implementation of TEA TEKS standards.
