About Brandy Roberson
Brandy Roberson received her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 1994. She obtained her Texas teaching certification and taught 7th grade Texas History and 9th grade World Geography. While she enjoyed teaching, Brandy found the most reward in working one-on-one with students and parents. In 2005, Brandy graduated with her M.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She began her counseling career, working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault at the Women’s Shelter of South Texas. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), in 2015, she joined the counseling team at C2Counseling. In 2019, Brandy realized a dream of hers, to open her own office. In April 2019, Magdalene Counseling Services opened it's doors in Corpus Christi. In 2022 the office was relocated to Dripping Springs, just west of Austin. Brandy particularly enjoys working with adolescents and adults. She is also passionate about advocating for victims of human trafficking and is a past board member of the Coastal Bend Coalition against Modern Day Slavery.
