I am a South Carolina native and grew up on the sunny beaches of Surfside. I love to read and travel. I enjoy meeting new people and having new experiences. I have worked in service industry since I was 15 and have done just about every job title in the field. At 25 I decided that I could do more with my knowledge and skills, so I went back to school while also working full-time. I value a positive work culture, proper training for employees, and innovation. I hope to distill these attributes as an administrator. Growing up in the high tourist area, it was only natural that I got into hospitality and tourism. I owe a lot of my skills to the industry, but I wanted to further my education and find a new passion. With the growing number of retires moving to the area and my gregarious personality, health administration in public health seemed like the right fit. I have completed an internship with Consensus Construction and learned a great deal from their company and project managers. What I gained most from this experience was my new perspective into the business process and how every job has its own inner workings. I am about to begin an internship at Tidelands Health, and I hope to explore my career path while honing and putting my knowledge and skills into practice. I will be graduating from Coastal Carolina University in Dec of 2022 and really want to jump right into the workforce.
