I am currently in my 14th year of teaching English at New Caney High School.Furthermore, as a CF-L2 coach, I combine my passion for fitness and wellness with my skills in leadership and communication. I lead CrossFit classes by explaining the intent of the daily workout, demonstrating correct technique, and assessing and correcting athletes to maintain safe and efficient form. I also manage my blog and podcast, The Gym Bag Journal, where I share my insights, tips, and experiences on fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle.In addition to my coaching and blogging, I have earned a master's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at Sam Houston State University, where I have learned to create, manage, and optimize online communities and social media platforms. I have earned multiple certifications from LinkedIn on social media marketing, covering topics such as strategy, optimization, and managing online communities. I am motivated by the opportunity to use my media studies knowledge and social media skills to enhance my fitness coaching, blogging, and podcasting, and to reach and inspire more people to achieve their health and fitness goals.
