I am the Director of Academic Educational Outreach at West Virginia State University (WVSU), where I lead and oversee the delivery of academic outreach and programs that foster student education in collaboration with the k12 public school system. I collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to design and implement effective strategies and interventions that enhance student engagement, learning, and success. With over five years of experience as an adjunct professor at WVSU and Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, I have a passion for teaching and creating innovative and accessible learning solutions for diverse student populations. I hold a certificate of advanced studies in educational leadership and administration from Salem University, a master of arts in art education from Western Michigan University, and an associate of science in information technology and network security from BridgeValley. I am also pursuing a doctorate of education degree in higher education administration from Morehead State University, with a focus on policies and student success. My goal is to contribute to the advancement and improvement of higher education, especially for underserved and underrepresented communities.
