My name is Brandy Brookshire. My focus is helping manufacturing personnel to accomplish their objectives for production and quality for the benefit of their contractors, customers and each other. I certainly am proud of what I have been able to do and it builds confidence in my personal brand. I rate high on reliability, communications and results. I love the procurement challenge and go beyond what is needed striving for continuous improvement. I can be depended upon to maintain strategic and tactical relationships with suppliers and cultivate new sources to secure uninterrupted flow of material to our manufacturing processes. Reliability is critical to operations and I work tirelessly including extra hours at our facility and even at home.Communication happens daily with engineers, suppliers, coaches, internal and external customers, our purchasing team and our production team mates. Whether it is resolving DMR’s (defective materials), updating material information, resolving Kanban matters, improving processes that promote TQM or instructing current suppliers, I let folks know what is happening. The result is consistent team performance even when problems arise.Good Results is what we are after! Top achievements have been drastic reductions in inventory and generation of several million dollars in favorable Purchase Price Variance. We have been able to be very responsive to changes in volume and replacing defective parts. Excellent relationships with vendors mean products arrive on time. Numerous changes require close work with management and vendors to meet deadlines. And the ability to manage change is critical. You must be able to compromise and handle constructive criticism.I’m ready for the next challenge!
