At The Billions Corporation I provided leadership and oversight for the accounting and financial operations including revenue recognition, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, and financial planning for both the US and Canada entities. I worked with my team to ensure all revenue and expense transactions were recorded properly on a monthly basis. I created the quarterly forecast and variance analysis for the President and COO. I worked closely with business managers on a monthly basis to reconcile the artists accounts by issuing statements to them and addressing any questions or concerns. I prepared all of the annual tax data for the tax accountant and worked closely with him throughout the tax preparation process. I updated the P&L, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flow on a monthly basis. I worked closely with the COO to complete various projects for the President.

At Turner I was responsible for managing and executing relevant financial reporting for multiple revenue share deals. I managed key internal control processes for the Quarterly Contract Catalog and supported any third party audits. I assisted in developing processes for our new order management system Operative. I worked with multiple business units including Sales, Strategic Planning and Legal on all new standard and non-standard deals.

While I was at Madison Square Garden I created the P&L's for the transformation signature partnership deals and all of the teams (Knicks, Rangers & Liberty) marketing partnership deals. I was responsible for recording the monthly revenue recognition, fulfillment and administrative expenses for all of the teams deals. I worked closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to create the quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. I reviewed and approved the sponsorship revenue for both the teams and entertainment divisions as it was entered into Wide Orbit which is the billing and revenue recognition system. I was also responsible for the sponsorship portion of all of three league deals and was the sponsorship point of contact for all the league audits.

At the Chicago Theatre I was the lead Finance person for the Booking and Facilities division. For the Bookings division, I was responsible for completely all of the event settlements with the promoters or artist agents, recording the revenue and expense for all of the events and maintaining the events budgets and forecasts. For the Facilities division, I was responsible for maintaining five department’s administrative budgets and forecasts as well as completing the month end closes. I worked directly with the General Manager at the Chicago Theatre as well as my direct supervisors who were located in the New York office.

I was responsible for the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments. I would complete the month end close, balance sheet analysis and statements for clients. I worked with the General Manager and Director of Finance to complete the annual budget. I also would settle events that took place at the different properties including, Concerts, Grand Prix, Rodeo, etc.

I prepared the monthly financials for all RediClinic and Corporate events. I completed journal entries for the month end close and reconciled the bank statements. I created and maintained a daily report for all RediClinics for senior management. I would assist with the quarterly audits.

I was responsible for recognizing the clubs, theaters and arena revenue for all events. I prepared financials for the Director of Finance and assisted with the quarterly forecasts and annual budget. I maintained Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable schedules. I would assist with other projects as needed.
