I was born into this world with nothing and I shall depart from this world taking nothing with me. But between now and eternity, I shall give God the glory for the special talent He has given me. I draw and paint because words are not enough! God has blessed me with the ability to touch hearts and souls with the gift of art. I see the world through the potential of beauty and my vision goes beyond what the natural eye can see. I believe that anything your heart desires can be painted or drawn... I merely await you to ask.Art says what one cannot. I am a self taught natural artist and have been 'doing art' since I could hold a pencil or crayon. I was born and raised in New Mexico and transplanted to North Carolina 20+ years ago. The only training I had was from high school art classes where I learned the value of shading and to not be afraid of the dark. Some of my best work is in pencil where I can get an amazing amount of detail, but I am learning to love oils as well, and I work in watercolor. In watercolor I prefer not using a wash but again getting the detail of color. My best subjects are of nature, people are coming along, however I prefer wild life, animals or 'scapes or flowers, or pets. I would like nothing better than to be able to support myself with my art talent. I plan to paint many more pictures and to include photography in my expertise. I am also an author with 9 books published.There are many more books in my future and I will be adding them to the ones available now.Specialties: Pencil portraits of pets or people, wildlife in pencil or paint, flower paintings, landscapes and still life in pencil or paint, calligraphy, creative writing.
