As Grants Manager at COCA, I lead a strategic and comprehensive approach to grant funding, ensuring our efforts align with organizational fundraising goals and metrics. I oversee the full grants lifecycle—from identifying and pursuing funding opportunities to crafting compelling proposals, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance through final reporting. In FY24, I successfully secured over $1.4M in grant funding, including COCA's first-ever award from the United Way. Looking ahead, I am on track to surpass $2M in grant funding for FY25, driving sustainable growth and impact for the organization.

I work with sustainable brands to manage and polish their blog copy, newsletters, and other long-form content. Despite our best efforts, sometimes we struggle to put the right words to our brilliant products and ideas. That's where I come in!

I teach a variety of history and political science courses, both online and on-ground, within the College of Arts & Sciences. I also work with the instructional design team to design online content for the university and edit and proofread various faculty projects.

I conducted archival research, presented findings at national and regional conferences, and collaborated with colleagues on a broad range of research/writing projects. I also designed and taught multiple interdisciplinary courses within the College of Arts & Sciences.

I worked in a customer service and administrative assistant capacity for the city's Parks and Recreation Department, assisting patrons with their rec center memberships, directing inquiries to appropriate city administration, completing donation requests, and ensuring compliance with state safety protocols.
