I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master degree of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM). I am also a NCCAOM Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, which is a practitioner who is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®) and have met the certification requirements for both acupuncture and Chinese herbology. I currently practice Acupuncture, Chinese herbology, Tuina, Nutritional I have over 1000 hours of clinical practice, 672 hours acupuncture techniques and theory, 636 hours Chinese herbal medicine, herb-drug interaction, and safety precautions, 582 hours biomedical diagnostics, treatment of disease, and pharmacology, and studied under Elizabeth Fordyce, L.Ac., for 2 years. I have had great success in the treatment of anxiety, depression, menstrual disorders, pain, stress, allergies, and infertility.I am trained in various types of acupuncture, taking particular interest in Master Tung’s points and theories, Dr. Richard Tan’s balance theory, and Mikio Sanke's Esoteric acupuncture. I am currently working towards Kundalini Yoga Teachers certification. I have a strong belief that the body has the ability to heal itself if we are willing to take the journey. I am excited about being able to serve a community through education, acupuncture, and love.When I'm not spending time with patients, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, practicing Kundalini Yoga, healing through art, riding my bike, volunteering for Barefoot Acupuncture & Wellness and being involved in the Chattanooga community anyway I can.
