Responsibilities include managing the annual budget process and the presentation of the budget to senior management, preparing various analysis reports, quarterly financial reporting to our foreign parent company, filing state annual reports, managing the inventory control department, managing the company’s insurance program, and coordinating the corporate tax function including completing key calculations and gathering necessary data for preparing the tax provision, returns, and estimated payments. I also completed a job rotation as accounting manager where I managed and performed month-end close procedures and financial reporting, along with various other accounting operations.

Responsibilities included project management of the company’s JSOX compliance efforts, internal control assessments, new control design, and coordinating communication with the foreign parent company’s internal control group, executive management and with our external auditors and consultants.

Responsibilities included managing multiple client projects and staff in the completion of financial statement audits, internal audits, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance audits. Other projects included documenting organizations’ processes and controls, assessing where there are weaknesses, and recommending solutions to management. Other responsibilities included project scheduling.
