In this hybrid position, I work with a team of professionals to keep our fingers on the pulse of breaking news spanning 22 counties in both North and South Carolina. I am responsible for working with city and county agencies in disseminating information to the public in a clear, concise way and tailoring that information for various social media platforms and push alerts. Similarly, I help with tracking and increasing social media engagement.This position also allows me to write and edit stories as they come in, as well as create and edit graphics and videos across multiple content management systems.
