The Division Logistics Manager or Supply Chain Manger is in charge of the Victory Packaging Division of West Rock Transportation and Logistics Equipment Assets, Warehouse Asset Management, P & L Budgets, Transportation and Logistics CAPEX Budget, Contract Negotiations dealing with Transportation Electronic Tracking devices or Cameras (LYTX), ELD Systems, Transportation Safety Equipment, Procurement, Distribution Audits in Transportation or Warehouse, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), Leasing Equipment rate negotiation, Rentals, Coordinating of Rental Raters for Movement and Storage of its supplies. The main duties include procurement, process and project management, reviewing, monitoring, manage budgets, processing shipments and building delivery routes. Assist in the selection of 3PL Carriers for transportation needs of internal/external customer goods. As well as negotiate rates and contracts with 3PL Carriers.

The Dedicated Logistics Manager is responsible for the oversight and ownership of the dedicated account’s profitability through the Day to Day Operations and Direct/On-Site Customer interaction. I have 25 years of Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management Experience coordinating detailed complex operations involving 3PL’s, 20+ years of experience as a Logistics Officer (Rank of Captain-Promotable) in the U.S. Army and 15 years of Operation and Sales Management experience in a high-volume distribution environment of 2.8 MILLION+ SQ. FT. Distribution Center (125K+ Pallet Spaces). In one of my experiences, I helped Nike NALC improve its 2017 overall Distribution Center goals by 50% at the Memphis, TN location by implementing sound knowledge of management principles, best practices, methods, and training techniques. The specific emphasis was on applicable SAFETY, budget, procurement, property management and personnel training goals. In another one of my experiences I managed Fort Gillem, Georgia’s MEPS (Military Emprocessing Station) Operations. I planned training and professional development for MEPS staff while reviewing updates to department policies and procedures. I formulated data analysis on various required metrics and coordinated the daily workflow to ship hundreds of military recruits to 10 training centers across the United States.
