Hello, I'm Branson Briggs. I am an aspiring data analyst/data engineer from Utah. I am also a recent graduate from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University with a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and a minor in Spanish. Throughout my academic journey, I embraced opportunities to enhance not only my technical skills but also my communication abilities, earning a Spanish minor along the way.Over the years I have had the opportunity to work in food and retail positions where I have honed my skills in communication and teamwork. I pride myself on excellent customer service, humility, responsibility, integrity, and loyalty. Whether it be working as a team to accomplish a common goal, or volunteering in an organization to serve others, I am always there for my team and feel pride, commitment, and dedication to the work that I do.My university classes were exceptionally challenging and have contributed to my self-development as a student and professional. I took multiple courses that developed my understanding of coding languages like SQL and Python. I have gained experience in using extremely useful tools like AWS RDS, Cloud9, Snowflake, Tableau, Lucidchart, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, Adobe editing applications, and Google Colab. My courses also helped me develop an understanding of coding techniques such as sorting algorithms, triangular arbitrage, object-oriented programming, networkx graphs, recursion, and binary search trees. I developed an appreciation for the process of preparing data and building databases for projects in different classes.I am actively searching for full-time career experiences that will allow me to further develop my unique skills and benefit any company that I may work for. I aspire to be a standout data engineer who demonstrates dedication to every team I collaborate with.
