Retirement is gliding into view. I've operated as a Chief Tax Officer (CPA) at four different publicly-traded companies (revenues ranging from $300 million to $7 billion), who is experienced in identifying and implementing successful global tax strategies (including a successful tax inversion in 2016) and then communicating those strategies to non-tax executives and Audit Committees; has consistently functioned as a key member of acquisition teams (more than 50 transactions with individual deal values up to and exceeding $2 billion) and is experienced in leading the global integration of the businesses acquired (including optimizing tax benefits arising from product flows and legal entities utilized); has successfully designed and implemented effective global tax accounting controls and processes in those three publicly traded companies; and who is continually working to minimize effective income tax rates and cash taxes and monetize valuation allowances.
