1 in 3 homeless individuals is an unaccompanied woman and the overwhelming majority are victims of crime. Unaccompanied women is a population that is severely under-served and overlooked nationally and locally. WISEPlace is a community of hope and housing for women experiencing homelessness. While committed to a housing-first approach, it is not only shelter that supports these women on their journey to personal stability. As CEO of WISEPlace, I am leading the organization toward ending homelessness through the essential pairing of shelter and housing solutions and wrap-around services, with no barriers to entry for the first time our organizations history. To that end, I have led WISEPlace since 2018 – bringing more than 15 years of sales and management experience, with a strong business sense, to the nonprofit community. In my first year with WISEPlace, I mainstreamed program operations and increased the number of participants served by 182% all while stabilizing our financials by 53%. Under my leadership, and through the support of an incredible staff and board of directors, WISEPlace has embarked on a development partnership to build 50+ units of permanent supportive housing and a full remodel of our current shelter to include outdoor courtyards for domestic animals, operating kitchen and dining rooms, and so much more to be revealed! -Created the 1st Forever Footprints Perinatal Bereavement Conference & Training with over 100 attendee's from over 15 different major healthcare organizations from LA, OC, Riverside, and San Bernardino County.-Created sustainable and trauma informed support groups serving 500 families annually, from just 200 families in 15 months. -13% overall revenue growth in just 12 months. -Strategic increase of 62% clients served in one year. -Increased corporate and individual donors by 40%.

-Growth of children served by 46%.-3rd highest ranked BBBS out of 340 agencies nationwide, previously ranked 17th in nation. -Recruited and trained an empowered team originally of 6 staff members to over 35 staff members serving three counties.-Destination Future: Constructed new curriculum and solicitation of 50+ pro-bono events centered around high school completion and college/career readiness programs called Destination Future: 18+. This also lead to secured funding of $900K to increase new services to youth over 18 years old and provide scholarships, laptops, and college and career support until after college graduation or the age of 25 years old. -Developed new client focused surveys, newsletters, events, and appreciation strategies resulting in increased volunteer engagement and recruitment by 50%.-6 month volunteer commitment increased from 64% to 98%, 12 month volunteer commitment increased 40% to 82%. -Lead a fundraising mindset within programs team which generated 80% of new corporate partnerships by building strong relationships with volunteers and corporate partnerships. -Executed and managed child safety systems within 3 counties while increasing BBBS standards from the lowest 1 point ranking to 4.5-5 point ranking.-Increased High School graduation rate by 103% in less than three years.

-The strategic vision and planning, development and funding, implementation and daily operations of all programs and program special events, corporate and community based volunteer structures, as well as both social enterprise ventures. -8 years of results: Operating budget from $155,000 to 1.4Million, grew programming from just 1,200 clients to serve 4,200+ annual clients (344% growth) while creating new programming such as active job placement, full array of workshop programming, as well as launching transportation programs. Additionally developed corporate, college, and individual volunteer opportunities resultant in 16,500+ annual volunteer hours (375% growth).
