My greatest joys come from being a father and a husband. My current role as a CFO provides an opportunity to be involved in various different fields including: environmental clean-up, development of real estate, factoring of receivables, property management, investment holdings and tax preparation. In this start-up company, I have implemented many different accounting softwares as we have grown, provide the IT support for our company, take on HR problems, and fill in wherever the need arises. I thrive in the challenge of figuring things out. Most the time to a fault until I finally figure it out. My worst memory is spending two sleepless nights figuring out a problem. Then slept for 14 hours once it was resolved. Love dad jokes. Especially the ones I can get my wife to roll her eyes at. Fluent Spanish speaker and prefer to pretend I can’t speak English in public. And then once the person I am talking with figures out what I said in Spanish, will speak to them in my native English language. I feel like life is here to enjoy, so have a laugh and then get to work.
