As an resident assistant I was responsible for creating an inclusive and welcoming environment to all the residents throughout campus and more specifically in my building. I was able to do this by creating events and activities that everyone could come together and enjoy. I was also tasked with the responsibility of managing any incidents and conflicts that may have presented themselves within the dorms.

In my role as a first-year mentor, I helped aid first year college students in their transition from high school to college by providing resources to help them effectively manage their time, academics and extracurricular activities, such as sports, in order for them be successful.

The major duties of the job in the Extended School Program (ESP) involve ensuring a safe and supportive environment for children during before and after school hours and during the Summer months. This includes supervising activities, addressing safety concerns, and providing behavioral guidance. The role requires planning and executing engaging, educational, and fun activities such as coding LEGO robots, playing gym games, and cooking lessons, all aimed at supporting children’s development and preparing them for success. Additionally, the position involves organizing the daily schedule, managing resources, and collaborating with school staff, volunteers, and community partners to enhance the program. Effective communication with parents and guardians is also essential, keeping them informed about their children’s progress and addressing any concerns or feedback.

As a substitute teacher, my duties involve managing and maintaining a positive, orderly classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher. I follow the lesson plans left by the teacher, ensuring that the scheduled curriculum is taught and that students remain engaged and on-task throughout the day. I adapt quickly to different classroom settings and grade levels, addressing any questions students may have about the material. Additionally, I monitor student behavior, manage any disciplinary issues that arise, and follow school policies to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. Effective communication with both students and school staff is essential for me to ensure a smooth transition and continuity in the learning process.

In my role as Concession Stand Manager, I coordinated daily operations, overseeing everything from food preparation to stock management and quality control. I supervised, trained, and motivated the concession staff, ensuring they provided excellent customer service. Keeping the concession area clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulations was a top priority for me. I managed inventory by ordering supplies, tracking usage, and working to minimize waste. Handling cash transactions, reconciling sales, and preparing daily financial reports were also part of my responsibilities. I ensured all equipment was maintained and operational, coordinating repairs as needed. Additionally, I managed staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and events and addressed customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and efficiently.

In my role at Greenrise Technologies, I began each day by reviewing the work schedule with the Crew Leader to align on our tasks. I assisted with loading trucks with the necessary installation materials, ensuring we were well-prepared for the day's projects. My work focused on completing erosion control installations to a high standard, always following the specifications set by the Crew Leader. I made it a priority to represent Greenrise Technologies professionally when interacting with customers and homeowners. Additionally, I adhered to safety protocols and took responsibility for inspecting and maintaining equipment to keep everything in proper working condition. Effective communication with the team and operations managers was essential, helping us meet our daily and weekly goals for installation output.
