I was accounted for serving subpoenas and related legal documents, transporting victims to court proceedings, and testifying on investigation results while participating in community juvenile initiatives. Under Georgia Tech Police Department, I mitigated crime risks and provided assurance by conducting high-visibility policing to the community, patrolling multiple areas, monitoring activities, and investigating as well as apprehending suspected law violators. I coordinated and handled emergency situations quickly to ensure the safety of Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff. In addition, I organized fundraisers and cultivated strong relationships with community partners to further the organization’s initiatives.

As a School Resource Officer, I maintained the safety and security of public schools, upholding peace and order in compliance with the relevant state laws and regulations. I worked directly with students ages 5 to 18 years, collaborated intensively with the administration and teachers to plan, develop, and implement crisis strategies that were in synch with the school environment. Furthermore, I employed my conflict resolution skills between the student body, parents, teachers, and the school administration.

As a Police Officer, I protected and served the citizens of Atlanta by mitigating conflicts, identifying suspicious activities, and performing effective arrests. I responded to calls such as crimes in progress, citizen complaints, and emergencies to protect people and property. I also arrested violators, thoroughly investigated evidence, and appeared as a witness in court proceedings.

Having served as a Deputy Sheriff, I maintained the Fulton County Jail by governing the delivery of safety and security to inmates, including fight calls and emergency medical codes, while performing static control, enforcing regulations, and tracking schedules to safeguard a safe environment. I performed the classification of inmates to their suitable custody level while exhibiting weekly rounds to avoid jail disorders. Likewise, I communicated with inmates to determine psychological/mental concerns and medical conditions.
