Hi, I am Braxton Davis and I am a UX designer. I am also a husband, a father, a recent soccer enthusiast. Oh, and an enthusiast of whatever my wife is baking from the baking shows that she watches. I graduated from Dixie State University with a Bachelor's in Psychology because I am fascinated with understanding people and helping them in whatever way I can. With my degree, I have been able to work in a field that has taught me the importance of being a part of a team, having strong communication, and listening with empathy.At V School I have learned how to design positive user experiences by solving problems and working out effective solutions. I have learned how to create adaptive designs and work closely with developers. The skills that I have gained as a UX and UI designer include: Data analytics, jobs to be done, user flows, surveys, interviews, information architecture, web design, graphic design, product design, and many more.During my time working at Contravent on the UX design and research team, I was able to work on many different projects for various companies. I think that the biggest thing that I learned in this role was how much research goes into understanding the product and project. From this experience I have gained confidence in my ability to understand a product and the problems at a very fine level. This allows me to find unique solutions to the problems.
