As a process engineering intern at MAHLE, I collaborate with the resident process engineer to evaluate and improve existing assembly processes, including designing and manufacturing new assembly equipment. I also conduct time studies to optimize processes and participate in continuous improvement meetings and implement action plans.I have facilitated projects that achieved ergonomic improvements for assembly workers by researching, evaluating, and installing new equipment. I led the implementation of new 3-D printing technology, resulting in a 99% cost reduction for specific parts, contributing to significant company savings. I orchestrated the reorganization and optimization of the tool crib, increasing efficiency and leading to a reduction in retrieval time.I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in mathematical sciences at Alma College, where I have a strong academic background in mathematics and a keen interest in applying mathematical principles to real-world challenges.I am highly motivated and analytical, with a passion for problem-solving and a solid foundation in computer-aided design (CAD) and AutoCAD.
