I've been through many struggles as a first-generation college student from a migrant family. It's always been an uphill battle for me, but my drive to one day be successful and be the example for many to follow always pushes me to my limits. Due to those standards, I've developed a work ethic unlike anyone my age, which motivated me to take opportunities to improve myself professionally and scholarly.My biggest professional asset is my exposure to large and small-scale construction projects and companies, which comprise four years of construction/management experience. I genuinely treasure that experience, as it has helped me connect real-world work experience with my studies as I progressed through college. For instance, I worked with big-name companies such as Brassfield & Gorrie and Hensel Phelps on multi-million dollar projects. Not to mention that I worked with a local light commercial general contractor throughout my college career, as I wanted to gain construction & project management experience and be financially sufficient on my own. I'm sure there are countless opportunities in the construction industry as an assistant project manager. All I ask from you is an interview opportunity since I'll graduate in the Fall and look forward to growing in this booming industry. My goal is to become a better builder!
