I analyze quantitative and qualitative data from oil palm farmers in Colombia to support the intervention decision-making around sustainable practices. I use Pandas/Python to transform and process the data.

I worked on music analysis and music emotion recognition with machine learning techniques. I developed a tool for extracting acoustic features of three random excerpts of ten seconds of a song classified within an emotion. Besides this, I developed a web-based tool in which the user builds a vacation plan in order to measure the influence of the background music on task performance. We analyzed the results by applying statistical measurements and clustering techniques, from which we created a regression model in order to explain the influence of music on participants. Finally, I developed a music recommendation system on in-store music for some commercial establishments based on neural networks. Together with the research project team, a paper and a chapter book about this was approved and published in the 12th International Conference on Interfaces and Human Computer Interaction in Madrid and in the book "Handbook of Research on Human-Computer Interfaces and New Modes of Interactivity" respectively.

I worked on the analysis and design of a web-based tool project and web development with Joomla and WordPress CMS.

I worked on front-end with Angular 2 Framework, Continuous Delivery with Jenkins, nodes creation in an Environment Manager with cookbooks in Ruby, back-end with NodeJS, application performance monitoring with Datadog, and unit testing with Jasmine and Mocha.
