Currently, I am employed at the most innovative health and wellness facility in the greater Baton Rouge area. While working at The Stable BTR I have been focused as a marketing intern but I would not limit my day-to-day tasks to this in particular. This is because my responsibilities include interacting with the customers and making sure that they are taken care of to the highest degree. Along with marketing I also meet face-to-face with The Stable's customers which allows me to gain great insight on what they might want to get out of their experience. With the insights I gain, I am able to shape the content that we as a business put out for our current and future clients to see. I am also forced to deal with many different personality types which has helped foster a high level of communication skills within myself. These communication skills include asking questions, simplifying and explaining information, but most importantly listening. By actively listening to the customers that I see daily I can build relationships that will not only help me but help the business grow and improve as well.

In this position, I am responsible for the development of my players both within the sport of soccer and out. I have to prepare practice plans that can efficiently teach the kids the specific focus of our training plans. Our program is also set up with 70 kids on one field so organization is a key factor to success.

While in this position I excelled in customer service and multi-tasking. During rush hour I would have to work efficiently to make sure that customers got what they ordered promptly. Along with dealing with customers I also had a team of co-workers around me which required communication and teamwork to ensure a high-functioning business. One scenario that would come up often would be the customer not knowing what they wanted to order. I would help solve this indecisiveness by asking a series of questions and then providing the customer with the best option based on their answers.
