A computer scientist with experience in a variety of coding languages (including Java, C, and Python) and general IT knowledge, evident through my projects and work experiences.My software development experience specifically is evident in a number of projects I've completed as part of coursework for the rigorous NCSU CSC program, including:* Developing a fully functional class scheduling system that supports functionality for student logins, where students can enroll in available classes, and registrar logins, where registrars can add classes for students to enroll. (Java)* Developing a movie database that imports movies from a file and allows for the listing in a variety of sorted formats, along with the ability to add movies to a secondary watch list database (C)* Developing an issue tracking system that allows for bug tracking during various stages of the development process (Java).* Designing and implementing an AWS Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) provisioning/management module into a sponsor's proprietary DevOps tooling for use by data scientists through iterations of the software engineering lifecycle. (Java Spring/JavaScript) * Designing and implementing a billing module for an electronic health records system through iterations of the software engineering lifecycle. (Java Spring / AngularJS)* Leading a team in creating and testing a set of usable instructions for printer hardware.These projects not only enhanced my knowledge of software development, but also my knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, continuous integration and deployment systems, and version control management systems. Additionally, during my years of working with an IT specialist, I've gained experience in migrating Active Directory domains, separating networks through rack-mounted hardware switches, upgrading server equipment, correcting DHCP issues, and recovering data from a ransomware attack, providing usable knowledge for hardware and software issues that businesses face.Furthermore, as a creative mind with experience in music, photography, and graphic design, I am equipped with a unique worldview to formulate inventive solutions to business problems that are bleeding time and money.To advance today's technology with my knowledge of software engineering and cybersecurity, I am seeking a full-time internship opportunity or entry level employment entering Summer 2023 in a software development or DevOps position for designing, implementing, and deploying quality software.
