As the Reliability & Asset Integrity Supervisor at Saint John LNG, Canada's first Liquified Natural Gas receiving and regasification facility, I am responsible for ensuring safe, and optimal functionality and availability of all process assets, both static and rotating. Our cyclical and seasonal-based operation offers a unique challenge in the world of reliability, and the age of the facility has allowed me to offer my fingerprint to the developing reliability program. I have previously served in roles developing and enhancing condition-based monitoring programs. I have a strong belief that efficiency and quality are the two most important aspects of maintaining a successful reliability program. I've also been given the opportunity to develop my skills in collecting and analyzing data relating to machine vibration, infrared thermal imaging, ultrasonic emissions, as well as oil and lubrication analysis. I've learned the importance and practicality of each of these four technologies, allowing me to efficiently apply them to a predictive maintenance program. I also have previous experience in drafting and design, both in the utility distribution industry, and the mining and milling industry. These positions have provided me with the ability to see different perspectives in the world of maintenance. I've developed competence in project management, design procedures predictive maintenance skills in the various industries in which I have applied them. I have a strong belief that all of these skills have important applications in every industry, and that I am capable of using them to exceed expectations in a variety of situations.I take safety extremely seriously in all facets of my life. I believe raising awareness and attention to detail is extremely beneficial to creating a safe workplace. I strive to create safe work plans in my every day routines at home and on the job, as well as take pride in motivating others to do the same.
