I am an aspiring law school student with a passion for sports and an unwavering commitment to pursuing a career in the field of sports law. Like many Canadian children, I started playing hockey at a young age. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been able to participate in a variety of sports growing up, but ice hockey has always been my passion. After graduating high school in 2020, and being awarded a hockey scholarship from my hometown LSO, I poised myself for the transition to playing junior hockey. However, the COVID-19 pandemic shortened our season and subsequently led to its cancellation. As a result, I faced the difficult decision to step away from the sport I loved. Knowing that I was no longer able to pursue a playing career, I began my journey towards a career in the business of ice hockey. I have always found an interest in sports contracts, so I shifted my focus onto becoming a sports agent. In 2022, I officially began my post-secondary journey by relocating to Victoria, BC to pursue an undergraduate degree in Sports Management with the long-term plan of attending a Canadian law school. As of now, I am beginning the law school application process with my sights set on gaining early acceptance into law school. I am a professional, mature, results-oriented individual who is passionate about every opportunity they earn. Excelling in my academics, broadening my professional network, and volunteering my time has led me to become an influential leader in Victoria’s sport landscape. I have leveraged the opportunity to pursue post-secondary education in Victoria to springboard my career in the sports industry. I am beyond grateful for where I am today, and I am truly excited for my future and prospective ventures.
