I hold a diploma in Biological Sciences BSc, and I have some field experience in it, however, in the past four years, I decided to transfer my career path. Currently, I am a third-year student of Universidade Estadual de Londrina enrolled in the English Licentiate course. I am seeking to broaden my knowledge and skills in the pedagogical field since I started pursuing an ESL teaching career for the past three years. Presently, I work as a private English tutor, guiding students on their paths by learning their target language using topics of their particular interests as study material. I am also a researcher at the Laboratório Integrado de Letramentos Acadêmicos-Científicos, studying popularisation of science.As a person who benefited from being bilingual during my exchange programme in the UK while I studied Biology and Animal Behaviour, I wish to help students to achieve their particular goals regarding the English language. I'm interested in translation and I have the experience of translating abstracts and papers, for my peers, since I was a Biological Science student.I am thoroughly organised, which helps me keep up with my busy schedule being an undergraduate student, English tutor and content creator on Youtube and Twitch. My main purpose with the free content I create is to serve as a role model and provide people a safe space where they can practice their communications skills without the fear of being judged by their competence level.
