Preferred Resources Pilot Stakeholder Engagement Project Lead
The PRP is designed to determine if and how the use of a diverse mix of “preferred” clean energy resources – including energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy and energy storage – can offset up to 300 MW of increasing customer demand for electricity in a densely-populated metropolitan area, thereby deferring or eliminating the need to procure new gas-fueled power in the region. Responsible for leading a team that develops and sustains a strategy to create a 2-way learning environment with stakeholders. This strategy includes frequent communications and transparency in action that allows SCE to obtain direct input, accelerate progress and build trust. By emphasizing outreach to a broad group of community stakeholders, including customers, vendors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and industry groups, the team creates opportunities to partner with stakeholders in testing new approaches to designing, acquiring, deploying and measuring preferred resources on the grid
Sr. Corporate Environmental Policy Analyst
Corporate Environmental Policy is responsible for being the external voice of SCE regarding environmental matters. Through participation with corporate officers and others, CEP assists in developing integrated strategies and corresponding tactics regarding environmental legislation and regulation, with an eye to which environmental positions will best serve the entire business strategy.
