I am an aspiring school and clinical Social Worker and I am currently pursuing my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from St.Bonaventure University. Once I complete my Bachelor's degree I will go on to get my Masters in Social Work from St.Bonaventure University, and then later on go and get my Doctoral degree.With my degrees I want to be a counselor in the school setting, either as a school social worker or school psychologist, but once I obtain my DSW or PsyD I want to work with kids that have mental health issues (such as anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, etc.). My drive for this kind of work comes from my siblings. My sister has autism and my brother has ADHD and seeing the difference a psychologists or social workers services has made in their lives makes me want to make that difference in another kid or families life.
