I'm an economist with a passion for financial models that do not work in mysterious ways. It's fun when it fits the data, but really, nothing surpasses the feeling of understanding why it does so! Recently i finished a M.Sc. degree in Applied Economics, and it wouldn't be entirely inaccurate if I told you that I got this degree just so I could do this more often. That's fundamentally what I love and what I'm looking for in the Job Market. I focused my research in Macro-Finance. More specifically, in Asset Pricing. I'm familiar with the theory behind most standard financial models, and I'm also equipped with more than the standard econometric tools to estimate them (although its tempting, I do my best to not estimate everything by Ordinary Least Squares). From a technical standpoint, I'm more used to writing algorithms in R, but I've got decent experience with Python and MATLAB.
