High volume hiring - Our team and technology is responsible for creating the hiring solution for millions of Amazon applicants. I have two teams working on the candidate communication and screening services, which are responsible for the global solution of communicating and screening applicants and handling diverse workflows to onboard new employees as efficient as possible.

Manager of a team of 10 software developers responsible for various Halo cloud services which included authentication, identity obfuscation, encryption, data privacy compliance, and iOS/Android native code packages for customer profiles and settings.Our team built a privacy compliant way to protect customer health data while being able to interact with Alexa systems. We also built out significant app improvements to the first time user experience/login/authentication, requiring cross-collaboration with various Amazon centralized teams.I also led various programs and scrums across the organization which included operational excellence, data designs, and privacy compliance reviews.

As an L6 TPM my role was focused around data management and data privacy in addition to cloud services, as we grew our device offering to include the Halo View and Halo Rise. In this role I built a privacy framework for the entire Halo organization's 30+ teams, and led communication and status for all these teams on the privacy topic to the Amazon Device executives.

Hired to start the Amazon Halo experimental devices program to track health metrics. Prior to the device announcement in 2020, I was responsible for defining this product for the organization, specifically around the privacy stance we wanted to take in regards to protecting customer health data and around all our cloud-services (Activity, Sleep, Tone, Body) related for this next-gen fitness device. I helped define operational metrics, privacy claims, and ownership boundaries for various cloud-services.

For Azure Marketplace and AppSource, we built a publishing website for all 3rd party customers to publish their VMs or SaaS solutions on Microsoft's cloud marketplace. I was part of the team that managed the cloudpartner.azure.com publishing site, and I led various projects around publishing KPIs, dashboarding, Test Drives, and UI changes.In this role I started the initiative to scale and decrease publishing times amongst our Business, Strategy, Operations, and Engineering teams through internal telemetry. This improved accountability and publishing times for VM and CRM solutions by over 10x.

Within a re-org, I was moved to help start AppSource, Microsoft's commercial marketplace for all Dynamics, Office, Cloud, and SaaS apps. We went from 0 to 1 million MAU in < 1 year. I built and managed all the telemetry and logging analytics across the entire site. I also led the Test Drive project for Azure Marketplace and AppSource, which allowed 3rd party solutions to let customers try before they buy.

I was part of the Microsoft Azure - Framework Controls Team, where we were responsible to build out the front-end UI/UX for the new Azure Portal. I led multiple projects and wrote specs for various front-end components, as well as wrote code towards the asynchronous file upload experience.

Fall 2014 - Summer 2015: Virtual Reality development on the Oculus Rift, creating an engineering simulation educational environment.Fall 2013 - Spring 2014 : Machine Learning Modeling for sentiment analysis within Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) data. Working with and analyzing opinion mining algorithms.

Worked on a new Azure UX project on the Resource Manager Team. Project built Azure's testing in production to help drive agility and data-driven decision making. My role involved turning customer desires into project deliverables, writing a spec, roadmap, and API, and then UX designing the future usage via mockups. Won the 2014 Azure Hackathon for building a ML algorithm to predict new data center locations.

Worked on the Cloud and Enterprise Team on a Visual Studio extension app called OneDash which brought outside tools all together in one experience. My work consisted of1. Designing the UX for Code Reviews.2. Implemented the risk level of a defect based on changes in a code review.3. Researched and Designed the Recommended Reviewers feature from MS Research for Code Reviews.
