    As a Procurement and Contracts Specialist I was provided insightful opportunities to expand my knowledge within the disability sector and indirectly engage with developing processes significant to making improvements for the end user.Key responsibilities included drawing up a significant partnership contract, managing a large caseload of contracts, and general procurement tasks (including processing RFQs).Other achievements included organising and managing supplier events, meetings, contracts, and supporting the preparation of a significant prototype.Before moving on from the role, I established procedures to streamline the establishment, execution, and contract management with an electronic and digital focus. This was imperative to ensure contract personnel are a touch point for every contract - incoming and outgoing. Managing and developing this project ensured a LEAN process and centralised repository once completed. This mini-project involved training a casual staff member in each step of the process in preparation for the future streamlined contract management.
