Leaven Media is an independent media company based in historic Concord, Massachusetts. Leaven develops media that permeates the social reality and inspires discourse to arise. Past projects include Karim&Honey, The Art Show, UNcharted (Co-Director) the film Dawn of the Light (First Assistant Director), and Exemplar (Co-Director), a film celebrating the figure of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. Exemplar follows the life of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and the profound effect He had on people both past and present. A sense of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s unique function as a shelter, a shield, a stronghold for all humanity is captured in vignettes of some of the souls whose lives were transformed for the betterment of society through their association with Him. The film reflects a few of the universal principles embodied, both in word and deed, by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá—principles that animate a global movement of individuals, communities and institutions striving to emulate His example in service to humanity.

Through the lens of scholars and youth, Uncharted explores the feasibility of a re-envisioned and re-impowered form of global governance, equipped to address the multiple global crises threatening our civilization. Uncharted traces the history of attempts at global governance from the nineteenth century to the present, the factors that limited its results, the reform ideas that are now being proposed and the new spirit of collective action that proves the world is ready.

I served as First AD of second unit. Dawn of the Light portrays several individuals from different continents as they relate their own personal search after truth and meaning. They share their discovery that God has sent two Divine Manifestations—the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh—Whose teachings are revolutionizing human thought and behaviour, changing darkness into light. The film shows glimpses of how this same discovery is inspiring the efforts of many across the globe to serve humanity and to contribute to building a new pattern of life.

This includes Bahá’í Writings for meditation and reflection, ideas to enhance Feasts, Holy Days, and family life, materials designed to print and share, uplifting music, original books, and meaningful media.

Work in close cooperation with the Head of the School and Administrative team to coordinate best marketing efforts, and improve admission numbers, retention, and overall customer satisfaction.

Design and formatting of a full range of marketing, branding and graphic design materials for conferences, businesses and personal events. Design of original artwork, logos, programs, and direct mail pieces including a National conference of over 800 participants. Work in close cooperation with executives to customize and maintain clear branding strategies, design materials that meet their needs, liaison with printers and designers to see jobs to completion. Organization of successful fundraisers and auctions (online and live), celebrations and other large gatherings ranging from 50-250 attendees, logistical coordination with conference organizers and site managers.

The Art Show is a series where real children get inspired by art and make something of their very own. Inspiration can come from anywhere: from a gallery and sculpture garden to a nature walk in the park. Children share their thoughts about their lives, culture and art in their own voice.

Launched and ran a small business which aimed to simplify the lives of busy parents by bringing the best of children's fashion to their doorstep in a subscription-based model. Networked and fostered business relationships with many US and international brands, developed a creative business plan and negotiated contracts.
