Breanna began her FIFO mining career in 2008, with exposure across the iron ore, lithium, gold and nickel sectors. Breanna has undertaken roles operating heavy machinery and drill and blast activities for nearly a decade prior to her transition to the technical services team.Completing a Bachelor of Engineering, Honours in Civil and Environmental and a Post GDip in Mining Engineering, Breanna has taken her strong operational background and thrives in her role as an Alt Underground Mining Manager. Coupling academic excellence with the invaluable experience of her previous career as a production mining operator.Breanna actively contributes to visible leadership and cultural change in the industry and seeks to empower and motivate her peers. Her supportive and inspirational nature has been recognised in multiple platforms, including, the Engineers Australia John Renner Medal for peer support, the ECU Vice Chancellor commendation for engagement and most recently, the 2022 ECU Young Alumni of the Year.Breanna’s most notable volunteer work brought about the creation and successful implementation of the WA Mining Club Young Professionals, where she stood as Founding Vice Chair.Recent endeavours have seen Breanna become the Co-Founder and Director of JUDDRILL.
