Breanna Gross graduated from University of Michigan, School of Social Work in May 2024 with a pathway in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, & Substance Abuse. Grounded in trauma-informed practice she has familiarity and passion in working with those concerned with faith and spirituality, grief and loss, LGBTQIA+ identities, ADHD, anxiety, and parenting. She has additional experience working with serious mental illness, including schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, mood disorders, and BPD. Breanna draws from a range of therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client taking an eclectic approach which includes: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, client-centered strengths-based approach, attachment theory, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, psycho/health education, and art therapies. Breanna has experience working with youth, adults, and older adults; BIPOC; and individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Topics of interest and continued development include grief and loss, spirituality, and LGBTQIA+ identities. Breanna draws on her background in health promotion and education, mental health, parenting, and spiritual and faith-based practices and strongly believes in being a lifelong learner and giving back to her community. Her educational and professional experience illustrate her call to honoring the dignity and worth of every being and the right to emotional wellbeing.
