I’m not an expert—and that’s exactly what makes me unstoppable.In the summer of 2023, I found myself doing something I swore I’d never do: selling pest control, door-to-door. I wasn’t passionate about bugs, didn’t know the industry, and had zero experience in sales or negotitation. To make it more challenging, I was the only woman on the team. My first two weeks were rough—I closed just four deals. Every day felt like an uphill battle, but I wasn’t about to back down.Instead of being discouraged, I saw it as my opportunity. I committed to learning everything I could, focusing on the process, and staying relentless. Failure wasn’t an option—I was determined to master something I knew nothing about. By the end of that summer, I became the first woman in my company’s history to make the Hall of Fame and proved that women can thrive in spaces where they’re underestimated.This experience solidified what I’ve always known: I don’t need to be an expert from day one to succeed. I’m driven, adaptable, and confident that I can figure out any challenge thrown my way.Now, I apply that mindset to every new opportunity I take on. Whether I’m leading teams, building leadership programs, or tackling unfamiliar challenges, I don’t wait to be an expert—I dive in, learn fast, and deliver results.
