Breanna Kerr, a dynamic and creative individual, graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from Temple University in December 2022. Eager to dive into the professional world, she embarked on an exciting journey with the AFB Talent Lab, kicking off her career as an intern during the summer of 2022. Breanna transitioned into a part-time role as a UI/UX designer at AFB while completing her studies. Upon successfully completing her degree requirements, she transitioned into a full-time position with AFB in January 2023. As a member of the Communications team, she wears many hats, contributing to tasks such as illustration and image creation, web content design and updates, PDF design and accessibility tagging, and more. In August 2023, Breanna expanded their impact within the organization by joining the Employee Community Council (ECC).Beyond the professional realm, Breanna in her crafty nature, is always on the lookout for new hobbies and skills to explore. This zest for creativity extends beyond the workplace, showcasing her passion for innovation and personal growth. Also, although a graphic designer by day, she is a dog mom by night to her fur-baby, Bailey. She enjoys taking breaks from work by listening to music, playing tennis, or baking.Breanna’s philosophy is to trust the importance of research that goes into a project, and the story that comes out of it. Graphic designers are storytellers, and she believes telling stories and fashioning narratives brings power to design. As a designer, she values clear communication and effective storytelling along with visually appealing designs. Her work embodies problem-solving, identifying opportunities, bringing ideas to life, and ensuring her creations are inclusive to all.
