My name is Breanne Mitchell, I also go by Bree. I am a Junior in the School of Human Ecology. I am passionate about understanding consumer behavior and leveraging marketplace trends, I am currently pursuing a major in Consumer Behavior and Marketplace with a certificate in Entrepreneurship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As a Division One athlete at UW-Madison for two years now, I've honed my skills in teamwork, leadership, and time management, which I now apply to my role as a retail associate at Dick's Sporting Goods. My diverse work experience includes positions at a golf course, Dairy Queen, Burger Haus restaurant, and Athletic Performance Factory. Currently, I serve as a coach at NWI White Sox organization and participate in the Athletes-to-Athletes mentor program. With hands-on experience in excel, retail, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, poetry, writing, design, and marketing engagement, I am actively seeking internships in fashion marketing for brands or retail companies. My dream is to secure a post-college role in fashion merchandising and marketing, where I can unleash my creativity and passion for design. I thrive in collaborative environments that allow me to utilize my creativity and work alongside others. I enjoy more open-ended tasks where I can use my knowledge and creativity to get the work done. Known for my strong empathy, leadership, and communication skills, I excel in team settings. I thrive on structure, preferring to have my days laid out on a schedule, and I am always eager to expand my knowledge through reading and learning new skills, including new technology. My passions lie in sports, design, fashion, writing, and marketing, and I am committed to pursuing opportunities that align with these interests while making a meaningful impact in the industry.
