The objective of the Student Staff Development and Advisory Committee (SSDAC) is to provide an open forum between the student representatives and the administrative staff of Campus Recreation. The SSDAC members plan, execute and evaluate events and programs aimed at cohesion, community good will and recognition.

Primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. This also includes enforcing all aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations. Secondary responsibilities include maintaining a clean facility, completing records and reports.
