Brecht is the Paralegal at Insight Equity where she directly assists the firm’s General Counsel in connection with the management of legal matters for Insight Equity and its portfolio companies. Her duties include, among others, assisting with the closing of transactions, conducting legal diligence, assisting with compliance matters, conducting research, responding to information requests, and maintaining legal records. Before transitioning into the legal department, Brecht was the Director of Marketing & Resources for Insight Equity where she was responsible for marketing the firm to the broader M&A and investor communities.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Brecht is responsible for marketing the firm to the broader private equity community, including creating and distributing all Insight Equity press releases as well as its marketing and presentation material while maintaining internal SEC financial compliance review process standards are met. In addition to these duties, Brecht assists the firm’s partners in managing communications with potential limited partners while maintaining a thorough database of correspondence. Brecht manages the operations infrastructure of Insight Equity’s headquarters in Southlake, TX and the New York office. In addition to these duties, Brecht is responsible for assisting with the firm’s internal recruiting efforts and managing the company’s technology needs, including the firm’s website.Prior to working with Insight Equity, Brecht worked as an Events Coordinator with the Gerson Lehrman Group, a financial consulting firm, where she managed their calendar of professional meetings and events for GLG’s clients.Brecht graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Corporate Communication and a minor in Sociology

Brecht directly assists the other professionals in identifying, sourcing, and executing transactions as well as managing communications with outside parties. She is also responsible for overseeing the universe of deal opportunities Insight Equity monitors on a regular basis. In addition to these duties, Brecht is responsible for the firm’s recruiting efforts and managing the company’s information technology contractors.

Lead and manage calendars of events for the high performance practice area of Financial & Business Services. Plan and coordinate events that take place with high frequency in major cities across the United States and UK. Work independently alongside a team of event managers, researchers, Council Members, and clients. Prepared event and practice area budgets and responsible for accuracy of said budgets. Examine appropriate cost allocation and charges. Supervise the organization and delivery of GLG events with all participants. Ensure accurate event, client, and Council Member information is expressed through GLG website and online meeting management system, including maintaining receipts and submitting expenses in a timely manner. Prepared multiple itineraries for parties involved in events, in addition to follow up after events to ensure overall event satisfaction.

Facilitated large scale events, including organization of all preparation and vendors. Created vision pages, detailed budgets, and production detail reports for events. Worked directly with clients to ensure pre-planning and event exceed client expectations. Working in a team environment to prepare for upcoming events and weddings. Created vision and implementation strategies for blog and websites. Maintained website portfolio and created blogs for Kennedy Creative and Weddings by Kennedy, in addition to constructing marketing materials and promotional items.
