I am currently a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a concentration in business management and leadership. With seven years of experience in the service industry, I learned how to be detail-oriented, work in a fast-paced industry, work well with and lead others, and how to treat a customer through a dining experience. I took these skills with me to my internship at MegaCorp Logistics, a third-party logistics company. I learned how to manage a customer account, negotiate freight rates and use logistic tools to interpret data such as reliability, availability and strategic sourcing.
