Responsible for the accounting for Verizon Access Costs. Job functions include month-end close duties for Verizon third party and affiliate entities. Other job functions include performing account reconciliations, and ad hoc projects, including co-leading the DTP (desktop procedure) initiative, creating a New Hire Information folder as a resource for all departmental new hires, volunteering for SOX testing, and many more.

Daily responsibilities include preparing a cash estimate report, as well as a final cash report; recording daily journal entries; and tracking off-site store deposits. Other responsibilities include completing month-end close duties, including account reconciliations for key and non-key accounts; assisting with ad-hoc projects; reporting joint venture investment summaries, as well as joint venture gains/losses; performing wire transfers; creating a verification spreadsheet for journal entries; downloading and running bank statements and daily gift card reports; creating a spreadsheet for monthly gift card activity; and assisting my fellow team members in any way I can.

Perform the accounting for three Wyndham Vacation Ownership resorts, including: Making journal entries, staying in constant communication with the sites' custodians, collecting all information in regards to accounts, performing reclasses and accruals, and putting together balance sheet reconciliations. Also, worked with a team of five on a case study project to help Wyndham Vacation Ownership understand emerging demographics and the global workforce, specifically focused on Millennials and the timeshare product offerings they will potentially be interested in.
