I am a Biostatistician with over 10-years of experience working in the health field (Clinical Research, Healthcare and Public Health ). I have always been focused on data analysis, since I studied my Master’s Degree in Biostatistics in the Mexican Public Health Institute.In the last 5-years, I have been focused in the Clinical Research field, teaching graduate doctors about statistical methods for their clinical research, and I began to work with a (CRO) Contract Research Organization as a Biostatistician. This role has given a new perspective to my career. I found an entire new application for data analysis, where I enjoy applying diverse statistical techniques in the clinical field, calculating sample size for clinical trials, writing statistical analysis plans, developing management plans, designing tables and graphics.My background includes working as a Biostatistician in the ABC Hospital, the best private hospital in Mexico. I had the opportunity to collaborate in the Quality and Patient Safety Department, this was my first approach at working with doctors and nurses and learned about Good Clinical Practice (GPC), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Benchmarking.In the field of Public Health, I worked for various Government organizations, such as the Mexican Ministry of Health, where I served as an Advisor for the Vice-Minister of Health. I also worked in the Mexican General Office for Health Information managing large databases and performing data analysis with National Surveys and Census. My reports were sent directly to National Decision Makers.My goal is to continue enriching my knowledge in the field of clinical research and contributing with data analysis to improve the health and well-being of the population.My Professional skills include: Data Analysis / Statistical Reporting / Data Research / Problem Solving / Team Collaboration
