I have a master's degree in criminal justice from Columbia Southern University and a bachelor's degree in legal assistant/paralegal from Roger Williams University. I am currently the Leading Chief Petty Officer at the Region Legal Service Office Southwest, Detachment Lemoore, where I oversee the operations and administration of a legal team that provides support to Navy personnel and commands. My core competencies include leadership, public speaking, and paralegal skills.In my previous roles, I have gained valuable experience as a defense paralegal for Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard service members serving on the remote island of Guam, and as a paralegal for a two-star Admiral, where I assisted in training 21 command legal officers on a daily basis. I have also developed skills in legal research, writing, analysis, and communication, as well as in working with diverse and multicultural clients and stakeholders. I am passionate about serving my country and upholding the rule of law, and I am motivated to learn and grow as a leader and a professional. I believe I can bring a unique perspective and experience to any team or organization that values integrity, excellence, and teamwork.
