Participated in missile integration and test. Supported and conducted environmental tests, engineering acceptance tests, and analyzed results. Performed continuity and resistance testing on missile hardware, cables, and simulation boxes per schematics. Learned how to troubleshoot/identify anomalies. Updated test/build procedures and helped create consent to power, consent to build, and hardware acceptance presentations. Interacted with different teams such as quality engineering, systems engineering, and mechanical designers. Earned certifications for operating cranes/hoists and using torque tools.

I was an Americorps member during my senior year of high school. I worked in the College and Career center at my high school, Tucson High, and advised seniors on college applications, scholarship applications, and helped complete job searches. I also organized two FAFSA drive nights where students and their families could get help applying to FAFSA.

I volunteered with Pima County Teen Court for 4 years, where I was a Teen Attorney. Pima County Teen Court is a diversion program intended to stem the school-to-prison pipeline and work to ensure teens who have been arrested are not arrested again. I worked on a team of two to three people, including myself, and conducted interviews of the defendant, as well as presented a case to a jury of my peers. I frequently translated during these interviews. I also was a part of the Teen Court Bar association where we discussed ways to streamline Teen Court processes and make the experience better for the families, the defendant, and the volunteers.
