In 1998 I began my RN career by working in a small hospital in an Acute Care setting and then gained some ER experience. In 2001 I began travel nursing and had the opportunity to work in many different states, cities and settings. I gained valuable experience from each travel assignment and met many interesting people. I enjoyed my career as a travel nurse and had no desire to change my career or lifestyle until 2012 when I began experiencing a great deal of pain in both of my feet which made it impossible to walk or stand for 12 hours a day. I was diagnosed with an immune system disorder that caused me to make a lifestyle change. It is a true saying that when one door closes another one opens. I opened Better Living Home Care, LLC in 2012 and now specialize in Home Care & Private Duty Nursing Services. Most of our employees are dedicated skilled PCA's / CNA's that provide care to the elderly and disabled in the clients home. Our goal is to help individuals stay in the comfort of their home for as long as they can, and with just a little outside help from others that can be made possible at times, depending on ones condition.
