I currently hold the position of Corporate Controller with KeyMark, Inc.. As we have grown to four separate entities located in three different states I oversee all locations for the financial transactions. I have a staff of five well qualified Accountants that complete the majority of the transactions. I am currently working on implementing special projects that will improve the efficiency and timing of all work within the department. I am primarily responsible for accurately recording and reporting the monthly, and annual financial information. This entails ensuring we complete transactions according to (GAAP) Generally Accepted Accounting Principles while also maintaining internal controls and protection of the company assets. Along with my primary duties and goals I supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi annual and annual sales tax returns that covers more than 30 different states. I prepare the audit schedules for our annual audit and work closely with our auditors to ensure they have the information needed in order to report our financial position.

I was responsible for all aspects of the financial operations of the business. These responsibilities included monthly invoicing customers, AP payment processing, weekly payroll, negotiation of insurance plans, management of company assets, 940/941 filings, annual schedules for auditors, workers compensation audits, office manager responsibilities, monthly closing and financial statement reporting and cash flow management.

Managed all aspects of the financial operations for the facility. Completed monthly financial closings within the required 2.5 days, maintained average accounts receivable at 37 days. Implemented new year 2000 compliant financial software. Responsible for and performed annual inventory and inventory reconciliation. Managed 9 salaried financial and 2 Information System Associates. Held monthly reporting and variance analysis meetings with peers. Implemented internal controls for all functional areas.
