▪ Recruited by former managing partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner to establish Legal, Compliance, Ethics, Governance, and Risk functions for fast-growing, private equity-owned, SaaS provider of automated loan documents for commercial lending. ▪ As a member of the executive leadership team, instrumental in defining and implementing immediate-/long-term strategies and planning to achieve GoDocs revenue, profit, and growth objectives while creating a high-performance culture.▪ Build legal and operational infrastructure, processes, procedures, reporting, and policy in accordance with federal and state requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance of GoDocs software across all 50 states.▪ Primary legal advisor on matters related to transactions, customer support, corporate support, strategic partnerships, operations, human resources, sales, product development, compliance, privacy, third-party vendors, ethics, contracts, and more.

▪ Retained as the organization’s first in-house legal counsel to define and lead corporate legal strategy and position the legal function as a true partner in the business, aligned with corporate objectives, initiatives, and priorities.▪ Established the legal function, as well as Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, and Ethics programs. ▪ Built and led a 12-member team to serve as trusted advisors and resources across the organization.▪ Developed and implemented legal policies and procedures. Co-authored the organization’s Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance Framework. Worked with lines of business to identify and mitigate potential risk.
