After Crosby-Brownlie assumed ownership of EDS (below), immediately filled this position at the request of the company's executive team. C-B is an HVAC and Mechanical contractor serving key commercial and municipal accounts in Western NY and neighboring states. Was instrumental in making the transition for this family-owned, small-to-mid-sized business ($30M+ in annual sales, 150 employees) as seamless as possible. Managed financials for C-B's Service Dept. ($4M to $7M in Annual Sales). Integrated software solutions into the Operations side, digitizing customer records and converting the dispatch process to one which is now computerized and allows for real-time tracking of technician locations, job status and more. Collaborated and worked closely with CEO and VPs to improve other accounting processes. Streamlined billing, collections, etc. Simultaneously supervised a staff of 5. Developed a more intuitive and environmentally-friendly filing system which immediately reduced waste, expenses and the company's carbon footprint.
